Meet the team – Jonas

Shift leader Jonas (29) has been joining our team in the warehouse since March.
He briefly describes his job as: ” Ensuring that customers have their orders correctly delivered to their homes.” What exactly this means, you can read below.

How do you look back on your first months here?

We are now in the midst of expansion and this involves a lot.
So a lot has already changed in this short time.
Every week is different.
That keeps it interesting, of course.

How would you describe your job to someone else?

Ensuring that customers have their orders correctly delivered to their homes.
De taken zijn afwisselend en uitgebreid.
Ik leid tijdens de shift alles in goede banen om ervoor te zorgen dat ieder order klopt en alles vlot verloopt.
Fouten willen we uiteraard zoveel mogelijk vermijden.
Wanneer het erg druk is, zie ik erop toe dat de deadlines gehaald kunnen worden met het team.

What starts your day with?

In the morning, I start making batches and get everyone started right away.
Then I review how the day will go to create a plan of action. Deploy order pickers where they are most needed at the time.
In addition to a good start-up, a good finish to the day is also important.
When Jessy (the other team leader) starts her shift, we brief each other on how the day went.

What moment or moments will stay with you for a long time?

There is not immediately one event that I can list like that.
Actually, in general it’s the atmosphere.
We have great colleagues here, which is not unimportant.
We can laugh every day and nice colleagues make everything better.

Do you buy a lot online yourself?

Euhm yes, actually quite a bit (laughs).
This has only grown in recent years.
Especially since the start of popular webshops, I rarely buy clothes in stores anymore.
Online shopping is so easy that I really order everything on webshops.
