Jeune Premier and ShopWeDo e-fulfilment are teaming up for the new school year.

Ostend-based school bag brand Jeune Premier is on a solid global rise. In 2022, they sold no less than 200,000 schoolbags and other school supplies. In order to maintain this rapid growth, they are now relying on the logistical services of ShopWeDo e-fulfilment. They will handle both webshop and business-to-business deliveries.

Flexibility and personalization

Besides the fact that their customers will be delivered faster thanks to this cooperation, working with ShopWeDo offers them a number of other advantages, such as the fact that ShopWeDo’s subsidiary, the printing studio NameOnIt, can immediately supply suitable personalized name labels with the school set.
All other printing is also completely taken care of.
“In addition to quality, Jeune Premier is committed very hard to experience. With ShopWeDo we want to take the next step in this. Personalization, easy returns or reselling your bag through the second life program are great examples of this,” said Bruno Piers, co-founder of Jeune Premier.

Second Life

Meanwhile, a logistics operation has already been set up to give school bags a second life. After all, not all school bags wear out after a few years. For this purpose, Jeune Premier, ShopWeDo and Odoo partner Applix worked closely together to make this as smooth and as automatic as possible. Customers can send their school bag back to ShopWeDo and after inspection, it will be sold again at a soft price. A sustainable approach that they are only too happy to participate in at ShopWeDo. “We are delighted that Jeune Premier has chosen us as its logistics partner. Everyone today claims to make sustainable choices, but unfortunately we still see companies choosing the, often foreign, cheapest option on a daily basis. By choosing a 100% Belgian party, Jeune Premier is really living up to its sustainability goals. And I can only applaud that. We are going to do our utmost,” says Kenny Van Paesschen, CEO of ShopWeDo e-fulfilment.

Future

Things are going well for ShopWeDo.
Their investments in automation and robotization over the past two years are clearly starting to pay off.
Their logistics operation was awarded the prize for Belgium’s most innovative logistics project by Transport Media earlier this year, and out of nowhere they came in 6th place as Trends Gazelle.
With almost the 1 million B2C shipments for 2023 in sight, ShopWedo can therefore call itself the market leader in this segment.
